A dedicated space for clarity, reassurance and informed choice

Sometimes you don’t need ongoing care — you just need time with an experienced midwife who will listen, explain and help you make sense of your options.

This one-off appointment offers up to two hours of personalised support, tailored to whatever is most present for you right now. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating complex decisions, or reflecting on a previous experience, this is a calm, respectful space to talk things through.

Many families book these sessions simply because they want clear, balanced information and time to be heard.

You Might Use This Session To:

  • Explore your options around induction of labour or proposed interventions

  • Talk through birth planning — including physiological birth, induction or caesarean birth

  • Debrief a previous birth experience

  • Understand how identified “risk factors” may (or may not) affect your choices

  • Create a personalised care plan to share with your NHS midwife or consultant

  • Gain reassurance and clarity after a recent appointment

What’s Included:

  • A one-to-one consultation (up to 2 hours), in your home

  • Clear, evidence-based discussion tailored to your situation

  • Written guidance or summary notes to refer back to after your appointment

  • A follow-up phone call if helpful

  • A personalised care plan, should you wish to share it with your care providers
